Business Analytics

Business analysis involves a blend of business and technical skills. As a Business Analyst, often referred to as a Management Analyst, you will use core business skills such as communication, problem-solving, and being detail oriented while visualizing the big picture for your company. Your technical skills will include the use of statistical language and software, to assist your company in its decision-making process.

Depending on the type of analytics used, you could be asked to help answer a diverse range of questions from what’s happening to my business now to what’s likely to happen in the future. Using the skills you will learn from the Business Analytics program, you will help your company make decisions, improve processes, and assist in strategic vision, using facts gleaned from statistics and software tools such as SQL.
