Art Galleries
Discover a world of creativity and expression at the District's Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Galleries. Our art galleries are dedicated to showcasing the work of talented artists from around the globe. From traditional to contemporary, we celebrate diverse artistic voices and offer a unique platform for artists to share their visions with the world.
Art comes to life when each of our campus locations has an exhibit space where our Metro Detroit and entire service areas can experience the rich art culture.
Our Mission
At WCCCD’s Brown and Juanita C. Ford Art Galleries, we believe in the transformative power of art. Our mission is to foster a deeper appreciation for art and culture by providing a space where artists can thrive, and visitors can connect profoundly with art. We aim to:
- Promote Emerging Artists: We are passionate about supporting emerging talents and giving
them a platform to showcase their work. - Encourage Dialogue: Art has the ability to spark conversations and provoke thought. We host
events, workshops, and discussions to encourage meaningful interactions around art. - Cultivate Inspiration: Art has the power to inspire creativity in all aspects of life. We hope to
inspire visitors to see the world through a different lens and explore their own artistic
inclinations.
