Student Email
To enhance student access to District communications, all academic students must possess a free WCCCD student email account. This ensures immediate access to vital student and District information and offers a secure means for students to communicate with CWD.
The District mandates that all academic students maintain a WCCCD email address. Official college communications to students will exclusively be sent through WCCCD student email accounts. Students are accountable for reviewing communications sent to this address by the District.
What does this mean for you?
- You will have instant access to official communications about classes, billing statements, financial aid, student accounts, retention alerts, emergency alerts, etc., and these will come only to your WCCCD student email.
- Messages sent by students to WCCCD from your email address will be secure and will not risk being held as “spam.”
- Students will be more informed and have the ability to take charge of their education at WCCCD!
What do you need to do?
- Register for any academic class and automatically receive a WCCCD student e‐mail account.
- Please note that your WCCCD student e‐mail account will be activated 24 hours after you register for classes.
- Check your e‐mail account regularly to stay in touch and control of your education at WCCCD.
