Nursing Assistant Training

Nursing assistants hold a special place in today’s U.S. healthcare system. Nursing Assistants
are taking on expanded roles in order to provide comprehensive care to patients across their lifespans, with complex needs and various health conditions. They make a real difference in the lives of their patients, helping them heal and recover and helping to restore their patients to the best quality of life.

WCCCD offers students a short-term certificate program for individuals who are interested in the field of nursing. The program prepares you for a career as a nursing assistant who provides basic care for patients in hospitals and residents of long-term care facilities, such as nursing homes.
