Meet Sharon P. Scott

Trustee Sharon P. Scott was elected to the Wayne County Community College District’s Board of Trustees in 2008.  Past elected positions included Wayne-Westland Board of Education from 1982 and Westland City Council from 1992-2000.  Her community involvement includes The Westland Downtown Development Authority, the Wayne-Westland Credit Union Supervisory Board, and the Wayne High Alumni Association Board.  She is active in the St. John’s Episcopal Church of Westland Vestry, Altar Guild, E.C.W., church social groups, Inreach, and Foyers.

She is the widow or the late Ted Scott, former Westland Fire Chief, former Wayne County Safety Director, and former WCCCD Trustee and Board Chair. 

Her prior WCCCD Board positions include Treasurer and Chairperson of the Finance/Personnel/Facilities Standing Committee.
