Computer Information Systems: Video Game Design and Animation
The Computer Information Systems Video Game Design and Animation College Certificate is designed to provide a solid foundation in the fundamental skills that are generally required to meet the needs of the video game design, animation, and programming field.
In our program, you’ll learn how to:
- Design video and computer games
- Draw for animation
- Animate graphics
What’s the job outlook for Video Game Design and Animation Professionals?
Employment of special effects artists and animators is projected to grow 5 percent from 2021 to 2031, about as fast as the average for all occupations.
About 6,700 openings for special effects artists and animators are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as retiring.
Where is Video Game and Animation Design offered?
The Video Game and Animation Design program is offered at our Ted Scott campus. You can also take courses in computer information systems-related fields across our campuses.
