The Wayne County Community College District (WCCCD) global supply chain faculty equips students with the knowledge, tools and resources utilized to bring a product to market in the most timely and cost-effective way possible.Our program offers specialized knowledge in purchasing, warehouse management, distribution, transportation, and supplier negotiation processes.

What’s the Job Outlook for Logisticians?

Employment of logisticians is projected to grow 28 percent from 2021 to 2031, much faster than the average for all occupations.

About 24,800 openings for logisticians are projected each year, on average, over the decade. Many of those openings are expected to result from the need to replace workers who transfer to different occupations or exit the labor force, such as to retire.

Where is WCCCD’s Global Supply Chain Management Certificate Offered?

The Global Supply Chain Management program is offered at our Downtown and Ted Scott Campuses. The campus also offers classes for other business-related certificates and degrees.
