Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to register their vehicles with the District Police Authority department to receive a parking permit. The following information is required for a parking permit:
- A valid driver's license,
- a valid vehicle registration,
- and your student ID or class confirmation.
No. However, the District Police Authority department does patrol and monitor a closed circuit television that alerts the campus security officer to a theft or damage that may or has occurred.

To obtain employment with the District Police Authority Department you must complete an employment application and submit a resume to the Human Resource Department. You must have a high school diploma or a GED, one year of security or law enforcement experience; have a valid driver's license. You must pass a physical examination, a criminal background check, and a drug screening.
