Institutional Effectiveness

The Institutional Effectiveness and Research Division fosters accountability, sustainable development, and quality assurance at the District by establishing processes and practices that promote transparency, accountability, and integrity.

This division also supports the integration of research, assessment, planning, and reporting to enhance instruction and services for students and the community.

Key initiatives include:

  • Building a culture of accountability and transparency
  • Implementing the district-wide Holistic Assessment Plan
  • Supporting institutional and program accreditation efforts
  • Evaluating processes for quality and effectiveness
  • Providing data to support strategic planning
  • Analyzing data for informed planning and decision-making
  • Conducting research to guide institutional planning
  • Sharing research findings with internal and external stakeholders

Student Outcomes

The primary metric of our institution's effectiveness across the board is our students' success. Each year, our goal is to increase the number of our students who graduate by enhancing student services and transparency, driving retention through accessible instruction, and supporting job placement.
