Study Abroad Guidelines
The Wayne County Community College District Study Abroad Program promotes international
experiences that contribute to the individual student's academic, professional, and personal growth.
This is an outstanding opportunity to visit and experience first-hand the areas' history, arts, culture, languages, and geography.
Criteria for Consideration:
• Be 18 years of age or older and must be a current WCCCD student
• Have completed 20 credit hours or more at WCCCD, and must be working towards a degree or certificate completion
• Have a grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
• Complete the Study Abroad Application and all paperwork associated with the application process
• Your cumulated credit hours at the time of this application should not exceed 50 (fifty) credit hours
• Complete a clear, thoughtful, and carefully prepared essay including your reason for applying to the Study Abroad Program
