The Computer and Advanced Technology (CAT) Center expands the Ted Scott Campus’ reach in serving the surrounding community and industries with training and instructional offerings to support regional economic development in the fields of Computer Information Systems (CIS), Advanced Manufacturing, and Logistics.
Course and Training Offerings
The CAT Center will offer a variety of courses, training, boot camps, and Continuing Education offerings to support the demand for Advanced Technology and Manufacturing careers in the State of Michigan and beyond. These high-demand, high-tech, and high-wage career fields will be supported by advanced labs, highly trained instructors, and state-of-the-art equipment to support globally innovative learning experiences. The Center will provide programs with multiple entry points into the career pathways serving middle school to adult career learning. The CAT Center will prove to be a critical piece of the economic development ecosystem within the community serving the Western Wayne region.
