Financial Aid Disbursement
Financial Aid awards from all programs will be posted to student accounts weekly at the end of each term's drop/add period. Financial aid funds shall be posted to student accounts in the following order:
- Michigan Tuition Incentive Program Award
- Michigan Competitive Scholarship
- Federal Pell Grant
- Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant
- Iraq and Afghanistan Service Grant
- Federal Stafford Loan (Subsidized)
- Federal Stafford Loan (Un-Subsidized)
- Other State Awards
- Other Third-Party Scholarships
- Waivers (Exemptions)
Attendance Verification
The Department of Education requires attendance verification before disbursing federal funds. Until student attendance is verified, no financial aid will be disbursed.
Disbursements and Refunds
Disbursement authorization is the posting of financial aid awards to students' accounts by the District Financial Aid Office and occurs weekly, starting on the Fourth Friday of every semester. Federal regulations state that the institution must process refunds (if a refund is due) within 14 days of the credit balance date. You may track your refund by logging on to RefundSelection.com.

Book Voucher
Book vouchers for Fall 2024 will be available online and in person. To place your book and supply orders, go to the Bookstore website and sign in at the top right with your account, or create one if you don't already have one (using your WCCCD student email). Check with the Bookstore for any updates.
Book vouchers for the Fall 2024 semester will be available from Monday, August 5, 2024, through Friday, September 13, 2024. You may view your book voucher amount on your Web-Gate account.
Book voucher amounts are based on the financial aid remaining after tuition and fees have been applied to enrolled academic credit hours.
