Campus President

On behalf of the faculty, staff, and administrators, I would like to welcome you to the Downriver Campus of the Wayne County Community College District. We are dedicated to our students' career success and offer a blend of arts and sciences, technical ability and skills, and creativity in a welcoming student-focused collegiate environment.  

Whether you are a first-generation college student, a returning learner, or someone who wants to upgrade your skills or even reinvent yourself, the Downriver Campus is the place. It is home to WCCCD’s Heinz C. Prechter Educational and Performing Arts Center (EPAC) and the Michigan Institute for Public Safety Education (MIPSE). 

Our faculty and staff are primarily focused on student success. We are with our students on their educational journey, and we look forward to making your experience here both enjoyable and rewarding.
