In six (6) semesters you can be prepared for a fascinating career as an Anesthesia Technician. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will work with a nurse or doctor to test and maintain equipment and supplies.  You might also monitor the systems used to administer anesthesia to patients. 

As an anesthesia technician, your role can vary with the type of procedure, facility, and team you are assigned to. If your interests are in working with patients in a fast-paced medical environment, the AAS in Anesthesia Technician program will give you the required training and education to compete in this growing medical field.  

What’s the Job Outlook for Surgical Assistants and Technologists?

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the employment outlook for all surgical assistants and technologists is projected to grow 6% from 2021-2031.
